Owner Mandy Paton has been a strong Latin-o-phile her entire life. This passion formed her Latin American import business. In early 2006 she opened her Gertrude Street, Melbourne store Amor y Locura (love and madness) and soon after the Acapulco Chair arrived.

Mandy is working with her Mexican colleagues to constantly improve not only the quality of the Acapulco Chair products – but also the quality of the lives of the Acapulco Chair craftspeople and their families in Mexico.

OUR NEW ACAPULCO CHAIRS ARE GALVANISED AND ARE BIFMA TESTED. Our Acapulco Chairs passed the BIFMA (Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association) static performance tests in accordance with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) parameters. We are very excited about this as it means architects and designers can specify these chairs with confidence for commercial project opportunities.

Recycled materials are used wherever possible.

Frames available in black or silver powder coat on galvanised steel.
